Episode 16 - How to Read the Bible: An Example

For the past few weeks on the podcast we've been learning how to study the Bible for ourselves. This week, I thought it would be helpful to go through the steps I've been talking about with a specific passage, so that you can see how the process works.

Something I've always been confused by is, why did the Israelites worship a golden calf the moment Moses left? They had just witnessed the awesome power of God, and actually made a contract saying they wouldn't commit idolatry, so why did they do such a stupid thing? In this sermon I dive into some of the research I did, and the reasoning I discovered for this issue.
